The MBA Lawyers Eco-Challenge
Task force asks lawyers to sign environmental pledge; offers green guidelines for practitioners
The Massachusetts Bar Association Energy and Environmental Task Force has issued the Lawyers Environmental Pledge to implement the Green Guidelines, a comprehensive guide to help lawyers reduce energy and resource consumption.
The Pledge and Guidelines are the latest development in the MBA Lawyers Eco-Challenge, an initiative the MBA launched in September with the Conservation Law Foundation.
Four firms that have taken the most profound steps toward adhering to the Guidelines were honored by the MBA and CLF on May 14 during a reception at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. They are: Borchers Ware & Guglielmo in Medway. Milton, Laurence & Dixon in Worcester; McRoberts, Roberts & Rainer LLP in Boston and Modern Times Legal in Cambridge
