The MBA Lawyers Eco-Challenge

Task force offers new Green Guidelines, Landscape Management

In celebration of Earth Day 2009, the Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyers Eco-Challenge has released its latest Green Guidelines, focusing on landscape management. These guidelines promote replacing traditional lawns with natural landscaping and native plants, or implementing measures to reduce pollution and improve soil health when caring for a traditional lawn. Among the tips are limiting lawn watering, preventing runoff, using home-made fertilizers and soil testing.

The MBA launched the Eco-Challenge in September 2007. The new guidelines, Green Guidelines, Landscape Management follow the release of last year's office specific guidelines.
