Lawyers Environmental Pledge
We, the lawyers of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, are concerned about the increase and magnitude of global warming and the resulting ecological, health, economic and social ramifications.
We acknowledge the consensus of scientists who conclude that human activity has contributed significantly to climate change.
We believe that lawyers must act as leaders in addressing climate change by implementing environmentally sustainable practices and encouraging others do the same.
ACCORDINGLY, we pledge to use the attached MBA Green Guidelines in developing environmentally sustainable practices in the following areas:
- Energy Conservation
- Paper Reduction
- Recycling
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction
- Environmentally Conscious Purchases
- Sustainable Practices
- Education
- Support For Environmental Conservation
One person from each office must be designated as the Eco-Challenge Pledge Partner and provide their name when signing up for the pledge. Please fill out the Administrative Contact field if that name is different from the Pledge Partner.
