Now that practitioners have learned the new probate procedures, the last
CLE of this series focuses on drafting changes that need to be made to wills and
trusts under the MUPC including memorandums, powers of personal representatives,
the effects of marriage and divorce. The effect of the code on testamentary
trusts and trusts in general will also be discussed. Learn to incorporate vital
MUPC concepts and language so that your estate plans and documents will be state
of the art, and most importantly so that your client's dispositive wishes can be
accomplished. New suggested language for your estate planning documents will be
referenced throughout the presentation.
