Starting or Jump-Starting an Innovative Law Practice

Jump Start Your Marketing and Business Development

This two-hour workshop is the fourth in a series on starting or jump-starting your law practice.

The client experience is at the heart of a successful law firm. The fourth and final chapter of this series will show participants how to use the client experience to design and implement a marketing strategy that attracts the clients to the experience of working with a particular lawyer and firm in contract to the few clients who are only looking for an impersonal transaction. We will examine and analyze what happens (in their hearts and minds) at different stages the legal services decision-making process. Participants will learn what to do and start planning to influence the decision-making of a potential client or group of clients.

This will conclude our four-part workshop series that combines traditional tools, including business plans, marketing plans and check-lists, with more innovative tools, such as visual facilitation and imagery, to help you develop and leverage an entrepreneurial mindset. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
