EB5 Nuts and Bolts: The Basics of the Investment Visa Program

Over the last 2 to 3 years there has been heightened interest in the Investment Visa program under which a citizen of another country is able to obtain permanent residency in the United States through investment of either $500,000 or $1,000,000 into an enterprise that creates as least 10 new full time jobs. It has become known by the shorthand reference to the relevant statute, “EB5”.  In this 90 minute program three eminent Boston immigration attorneys with national reputations will review the basics of the EB5 process for both direct and Regional Center investments pinpointing key areas of concern and providing tips for the unwary.
