Probate litigation matters often involve complex family situations in which
emotions often run high. Join a group of mediators who specialize in mediating
probate matters. Two are former probate court judges and one is a law school
professor, who teaches trusts and estates, but also is an experienced mediator
and leading authority on the use of mediation to resolve will and trust
disputes. Led by a probate litigator, the panel will discuss:
- What works and does not work in mediating probate litigation matters;
- What the mediators need from the attorneys to make the mediation
successful; and
- How to handle the family dynamics of probate litigation
cases.
