Ethics
Need help with an ethics issue? Free ethical advice is an invaluable benefit of MBA membership.
The MBA Committee on Professional Ethics will help you resolve specific ethical concerns that arise in your practice. To take advantage of this service, please email your request, including a brief summary of the facts raising the ethical issue, your interpretation of the issue, and whether the request is urgent in nature to MBA Sections and Ethics Administrator Jean Stevens, or visit the MBA Web site.
FAB
The MBA’s Fee Arbitration Board (FAB) program provides voluntary binding arbitration to resolve fee disputes between attorneys and their clients and between attorneys. Fee arbitration is an ideal alternative to the Small Claims, District, or Superior Courts. The arbitrators are volunteer attorneys who are members of the MBA or trained arbitration professionals. LRS
The MBA's Lawyer Referral Service is one of the largest referral services of its kind, making more than 25,000 referrals each year to its 1,000 attorney members throughout the state. MBA Forums

Sections
Are you a member of an MBA section or practice group? Join one or more of the MBA’s 16 sections, specialty groups that focus on a unique area of law, and gain many valuable advantages of membership including the opportunity to build a network of contacts with key lawyers and experts in the field, receive reduced rates for section-sponsored, continuing legal education seminars, and seek appointment to leadership roles in the MBA. Recent Developments in Federal and Massachusetts Law 2008
The MBA is pleased to announce that its annual and much-anticipated publication, Recent Developments in Federal and Massachusetts Law 2008, formatted in collaboration with MCLE, Inc., is available to all MBA members, at no charge, as a significant and tangible benefit of membership. In past years, this publication has been available to only a small fraction of MBA members.
Room Rentals
MBA members may rent conference rooms at our headquarters in Boston’s Downtown Crossing or at the MBA’s satellite Western Mass. office in Springfield, located directly across from the Hampden County Courthouse.
