MBA welcomes 2008-09 section council chairs
New slate of chairs futher diversifies MBA leadership
Appointed by Massachusetts Bar Association President Edward W. McIntyre, the 2008-09 chairs of the MBA’s 17 sections and Young Lawyers Division, provide lawyers with up-to-date information on specific areas of law, monitor law-related legislation, sponsor professional education programs and provide information on the law for the general public.
This year, the MBA welcomes six returning section chairs and 22 new chairs to the association's leadership. The 28 section/division chairs hail from across the state and will be responsible for much of the association's activity through the year under the leadership of the officers.
