The Immigration Law Section creates a focal point for its members to access information relevant to immigration issues and questions, network with other specialized practitioners to respond to the needs of a growing client base in the immigration field, and reach out to and collaborate with other existing sections dealing with immigration law issues.

2010-01-06: LCA denied for FEIN verification? DOL provides some background on its new (some believe ultra vires and incomplete) review of FEINs:
The DOL recently issued FAQ’s <<http://www.foreignlaborcert.doleta.gov/pdf/FAQ_iCERT_090909_FINAL_100109.pdf>> on its new iCert system which gave some background as to why it has been denying LCA’s based its inability to verify the authenticity of an employer’s FEIN.
