The MBA's 2010 Video Essay Contest for Massachusetts high school students
Create an original video about "Diversity in the Law" in celebration of Law Day
In celebration of Law Day this May, the Massachusetts Bar
Association is holding its first video essay contest open to high
school students who live in and attend Massachusetts schools.
Students (grades 9-12) who live in and attend school in
Massachusetts can compete for scholarships by submitting videos by
April 15, 2010 on "Diversity in the Law." Submitted video essays
should be original, family friendly entries (no copyrighted
materials) in any format, which may include dances, poems, skits or
any other combination of images and words.
The contest is being co-sponsored by the Massachusetts
Association of Hispanic Attorneys and the Asian American Lawyers of
Massachusetts.
The following scholarships will be awarded:
$1,000 for 1st place
$500 for 2nd place
$250 for honorable mention
Scholarship winners and their
families will be invited to attend a special ceremony and screening
of their videos in May.

submit a parental
consent form.
