    Dial-A-Lawyer

    On the first Wednesday of each month at the MBA Boston headquarters, volunteer attorneys provide free basic legal information by phone to callers between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Questions cover a wide range of legal topics. The program is also offered twice a year in Western Mass.

    Elder Law Education Program

    The Elder Law Education Program matches attorneys with senior service-related agencies to discuss topics such as Medicare/Medicaid, health care proxies, probate issues and more.

    New Orleans Legal Assistance
    The MBA partnered with New Orleans Legal Assistance (NOLAC) in 2008 to assist in providing free legal aid on behalf of Gulf Coast residents who want to challenge decisions of FEMA terminating rental assistance benefits or seeking recoupment (repayment) of assistance monies previously paid.

    Speakers Bureau

    If you are interested in inviting an MBA member to speak at your next meeting on a specific legal topic, please consider the Speakers Bureau. Members of the MBA are available to speak to civic, social, educational and business organizations on a wide range of legal topics.

    Veterans Programming

    Are you a veteran, or the family member of a veteran, struggling to navigate the legal system with a state or federal appeal on a benefits claim? Do you have a legal question in the area of housing, employment, divorce and would like to speak to an attorney? The MBA can help through three programs that are currently being offered to assist veterans with their legal problems. Learn more about these legal resources and how to get help.
