Alternative Dispute Resolution
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is an increasingly popular
means of resolving disputes without litigation. The process employs
practices and techniques outside of the judicial system.

Dial-A-Lawyer
On the first Wednesday of each month at the MBA Boston
headquarters, volunteer attorneys provide free basic legal
information by phone to callers between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Questions cover a wide range of legal topics. The program is
also offered twice a year in Western Mass.

Elder Law Education Program
The Elder Law Education Program matches attorneys with senior
service-related agencies to discuss topics such as
Medicare/Medicaid, health care proxies, probate issues and
more.

MBA Pro Bono Prescription
The Massachusetts Bar Association and the Medical-Legal
Partnership Massachusetts network have joined forces to create MBA
Pro Bono Prescription. This pioneering initiative brings together
volunteer attorneys and medical professionals to promote the health
and well-being of low-income patients through legal advocacy.

speak to civic, social, educational and business organizations on a
wide range of legal topics.
