2009-12-02: International Service of Summons/Complaint
Taylore and I attended the MBA web seminar yesterday on web updates and section blogging. As an initial attempt for everyone to become involved, does anyone have any helpful practice hints on international service? I have one case which requires service in South America and one case which requires service in Europe. My online search has found a company which is very expensive - $1200-$2000 for service depending on whether or not I choose formal service or informal service. Any suggestions on companies? Any suggestions on possibly obtaining a court order for alternative service?
