Mirick O'Connell, 100 Front St., Worcester
Channing Migner has practiced law in Worcester
since 1993. From 1985 to 1993, he practiced in Boston with Ravech,
Aronson, Shuman and Lewis. From 1973 to 1985, he worked for the
Workers' Compensation Claim Division of Kemper Insurance Co. in
Maine and Massachusetts. He has practiced Massachusetts workers
compensation law statewide for 22 years and has been a member of
the Massachusetts Bar since 1985. He holds a bachelor's degree in
mathematics from the University of Maine and earned his J.D. at
Suffolk University Law School.
Migner is member of the board of directors of the Workers Injury
Law & Advocacy Group, as well as the Worcester County Bar
Association Workers' Compensation and Law Office Technology
sections. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar
Association's Labor and Employment Section and a member of the
Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is also a member of
the National Organization of Social Security Claimants'
Representatives.
Additionally, he serves on the board of Concord Prison Outreach
Inc., where he is a facilitator with the Alternatives to Violence
Project, an organization devoted to promoting non-violence among
inmates to help with a successful re-entry into society.

When is it necessary and/or useful to provide expert witnesses
in a will contest? The Hon. Robert W. Langlois, first justice,
Middlesex Probate & Family Court, and another judge (TBA) will
provide feedback to our group regarding this issue. Please
come with your "war stories" -- when expert testimony was
helpful and when it was not -- and join us for a roundtable
discussion.
