Student Loan Management 101
Student loans. Everybody's got 'em. Nobody wants 'em.
But, since student loans are one of the most ironclad debt
instruments known to human history, you won't be able to get rid of
the obligation entirely. The trick, then, is figuring out how to
manage your debtload, while having enough money left over to
achieve your professional and personal goals.
As a lawyer, you've likely borrowed a significant amount of
money to get you through law school. If you're a law student,
you'll soon find out what those payments look like in real
time.
The student loan maze can certainly be confusing; but, there is
help available:
This free video, from the MBA and LOMAP, features
nationally-recognized student loan expert, Heather
Jarvis, and Ryan Nofsinger, of GL
Advisor, who together cover loan forgiveness,
repayment options and financial planning considerations, while
taking web and in-person audience questions.
If you need to get a handle on your student loans, this is the
place to start.
