SJC Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services invites nominations for 2007 Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards

Named in honor of attorneys John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards recognize individual lawyers, small and large law firms, government attorney offices, corporate law departments and other institutions in the legal profession in Massachusetts that have “enhanced the human dignity of others by improving or delivering volunteer legal services to our commonwealth’s poor and disadvantaged.”

Zalis for their work on behalf of the Barnstable Action for New Direction (BAND) Program; Heisler, Feldman, McCormick & Garrow PC in Springfield; and Samuel B. Moskowitz, a partner in the Boston law firm of Davis, Malm & D’Agostine PC.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, April 12.  The awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Supreme Judicial Court in the John Adams Courthouse on Wednesday, May 23.
