March 6 Awards Luncheon dedicated to Nancy King

The MBA’s Access to Justice Awards Luncheon to take place on March 6 will be dedicated to legal services luminary and beloved MBA member Nancy King. King was a selfless advocate for the delivery of legal services to the poor. She served as the executive director of the South Middlesex Legal Services in Framingham, a post she held for 30 years before passing away in December 2007 following a lengthy battle with cancer.

MBA members are invited to the March 6 luncheon at the JFK Library and Museum. The event will honor King by presenting her with the 2008 MBA Access to Justice Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously. Other 2008 Access to Justice Awards to be presented at the luncheon include the:

  • Legal Services Award;
  • Pro Bono Award for Law Firms;
  • Pro Bono Publico Award;
