Stops Along the ADR Spectrum: Matching the Best Option with the Situation

In these changing times, the need and demand for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is increasing. While lawyers and clients have a general idea of the more familiar types of ADR, they are less familiar with other ADR tools and methods such as case evaluation and collaborative law. On the day we celebrate Conflict Resolution Day, our experienced panelists will provide practical advice on the use and value of case evaluation in resolving disputes and how collaborative law works and when it can be utilized.

CASEMAKER TRAINING SESSION
MBA members have free, unlimited use of Casemaker, which was upgraded in January 2008. A Web-based legal research library, Casemaker allows users to search and browse historic and current state and federal case law, state statutes and regulations, ethics opinions, rules of professional conduct and more. Learn how to best utilize this free tool at one of our Casemaker training programs, held at locations around the state.

This training session will be held in the main conference room of the Registry of Deeds and is exclusively for attendees bringing and using laptop computers. No desktop computer stations will be available. Laptop usage is made possible by available wireless Internet access. All attendees bringing laptop computers MUST have a wireless card, or other means for achieving wireless connectivity.
