Join us for an interactive discussion on effective career transitions
Thursday, Feb. 12, 12:15 p.m.
MBA, 20 West St., Boston
Come hear Stewart Hirsch
, a seasoned business coach and principal of Strategic Relationships, talk about how to best prepare for a career transition. A transition of any kind requires the confluence of a number of skills, including networking, planning, learning, business development and interviewing. But skills aren't enough. Whether you want to make a move to a new practice area, start your own practice or get out of the law and start something new, having passion and an attitude of caring and curiosity will provide you with the internal tools you need. This interactive discussion will address this attitude that will help you to get the hard and soft skills you need to succeed.
Stewart Hirsch began as a litigator, changed firms, changed practice areas, went in-house, started a contract-lawyer business and became a business development coach. He is now the principal of Strategic Relationships, and coaches and trains lawyers and others at firms throughout the United States. He provides strategic planning for practice groups and individuals, and has presented highly regarded, interactive workshops at both national and international conferences.
