  Immigration Law and Transgender Clients

This workshop will provide both law students and attorneys practicing immigration law the tools for effective representation of transgender individuals in the immigration context. Experienced panelists will discuss the legal issues faced by transgender non-citizens, including Transgender Law 101 and DOMA implications for family-based immigration for transgender clients. This program is sponsored by the MBA's Immigration Law Section and Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association.
