MBF Annual Meeting
Thursday, Jan. 24, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Social Law Library, John Adams Courthouse, Boston

BoyleThe MBF is excited to present Leo V. Boyle, partner at Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow PC, with the 2013 Great Friend of Justice Award at the annual meeting.

A trial attorney for more than 40 years, Boyle is nationally known for his tireless advocacy on behalf of injured plaintiffs. But his reputation is built on much more than his professional success. Boyle has been committed to pro bono service and active in professional associations his entire career. In his most publicized volunteer effort, Boyle led the way to the creation of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and the largest pro bono initiative in history, through which over 1,700 lawyers from across the country volunteered to assist approximately 2,000 9/11 victims with their settlements.

Boyle has been at the forefront of ensuring access to justice for those most in need, promoting court reform, and changing lives for the better. It is with great pride that the MBF honors Boyle with this award in appreciation for his extraordinary leadership and service.
