Shapiro joins Burns and Levinson, Boston, in the corporate group. Concentrating on advising corporations and emerging business. Shapiro is a founding member of Shapiro, Israel & Weiner.Frank Talty of Talty & Talty, Lowell, was selected as national chairman of Law and Government Exploring, the prime sponsor of the National Mock Trial Tournament.Irving H. "Chick" Sheff and Douglas K. Sheff, of Sheff Law Offices, Boston. This father and son team was honored by receiving the 2001 ORT Jurisprudence Award.Keith A. Minoff, a partner at Robinson, Donovan, Madden & Barry, Springfield, has been elected to a one-year term on the MBA Executive Management Committee.Honorable John S. McCann, an associate judge of the Superior Court, will be honored with the Distinguished Jurist Award at the St. Thomas More Society of Worcester County's 44th Annual Red Mass and dinner.Anita W. Robboy has joined the law firm of Schnader Harrison Goldstein, Boston, in the family law practice of the litigation department.Robert J. Bonsignore, Medford, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Civil Justice Foundation. The CJF is based in Washington, D.C. Richard Keshian, Keshian & Reynolds, Arlington, was elected president — elect for the 2002 term of the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association.
