James F. Martin, partner at Robinson, Donovan Madden & Barry of Springfield, has been named chairman of the Baystate Health System Health Services Board. A resident of Longmeadow, Martin is involved in many community projects. He is also a fellow with the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
Arthur Carakatsane, Lynnfield resident, has been appointed a new member to Reading Municipal Light Department's Citizens Advisory Board. Carakatsane will act as a liaison between Lynnfield residents and the light department.
Samuel E. Zoll, District Court chief justice, has appointed Robert J. McKenna Jr. as first justice of the Concord District Court.
Judith L. Lindahl, a Cambridge resident and sole practitioner, has been appointed to the Committee for Public Counsel Services by the justices of the Supreme Judicial Court. Her term will expire on March 1, 2005.
