Joseph C. Edwards of Haverhill has been elected Alumni Trustee at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill. Edwards has a solo practice in Lawrence.
Nisha Koshy Cocchiareella, a Natick resident, has joined the law firm of Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple, Worcester, as an associate. She will focus her practice in civil litigation.
Dean Roger I. Abrams from the Northeastern University School of Law, Boston, has been named a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Stephen M. Kane of Newton, Eric J. Krathwohl of Ipswich, Emmett E. Lyne of Wellesley, from the law firm of Rich May, Boston, have been appointed as managing directors. They will maintain their respective practices while serving as managing directors of the firm.
Paul Carey has been named a partner in the law firm of Mirick O'Connell, Worcester.
Carey is an Upton resident, where he serves on the Upton Planning Board.
Lisa M. Fleming has been named partner at the law firm of Bromberg & Sunstein, Boston. Fleming is a litigator in the intellectual property department, which services technology-based clients.
Paul E. Nemser of the law firm of Goodwin Procter Hoar, Boston, has been named a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Seni M. Adio and William M.Cowan from the law firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, Boston, have been promoted to membership status. Adio and Cowan are both members in the litigation practice in the Boston office.
Marc N. Henschke has joined the firm Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, Boston, as of counsel. Henschke has experience in all types of complex business litigation.
