Arthur F. Warren has joined the law firm of Hill Barlow, Boston. Warren will be a key member of the Hill & Barlow executive compensation and employee benefits practice. This focus area will provide consulting and legal services to mid-size corporate and emerging growth enterprises.

Osler 'Pete' Peterson, a Medfield resident has been named to serve on the Deaconess-Glover Board of Trustees. Peterson is an attorney with Freeto, Peterson & Scroll.

Ann Marie Dirsa has joined the law firm of Mirick O'Connell, Worcester. Dirsa practice in the litigation department.

Robert Mangiaratti, a principal in the firm of Volterra, Goldberg, Mangiaratti and Jacobs, Attleboro. Mangiaratti has been nominated as the city solicitor of Attleboro.

Gayann Barbella Crowe, of Westford, has joined Boston firm Berluti & McLaughlin, as an associate attorney.

Terence L. Parker, a Bedford resident and self-employed attorney and mediator, will run for the state representative.

Samuel M. Shafner, a partner at Burns & Levinson, Boston, has been appointed to the steering committee of the American Friends of the Israel Museum of Science. The museum is dedicated to the development of unique educational programs for youth, and promotes excellence in science and technology
