MBA unveils new look for Web site

Faster, easier access to more MBA services and programs is the promise of the association’s newly redesigned Web site,

Launched last month in time for the Springfield House of Delegates meeting, the site features several new, user-friendly components and many improvements on the MBA’s previous, award-winning site. Among them:

One-time login Sign in when you first visit the new site, and only use your password for all future visits. Users will be prompted to login immediately, thus making all members-only content on the site easily available.

Improved navigation No more scrolling up and down the long list of departments. Now look for the handy short list of categories (member opportunities, sections, publications and more) and jump to specially designed homepages that contain a wide range of MBA information.

Career Center Through a new partnership with BostonWorks, the online recruitment services division of the Boston Globe, the MBA now offers members an online Legal Career Center. Browse or search for law-related job listings throughout Massachusetts — or post job openings at your firm at discounted rates.

Section homepages The homepages for all MBA sections have been upgraded to include articles, CLE courses and Mass.LawCalendar items of interest to members of each specific section.

MBA store It’s now easier than ever to sign up for CLE seminars, buy MBA publications, renew your membership and much more in our secure store.

Public access Just as we’ve improved the members-only access to the site, the general public will find the new MBA site much more accessible. That’s good news for users of such MBA outreach programs as the Lawyer Referral Service and MassLawHelp.

Casemaker Coming next month is the debut of Casemaker, the powerful online law library and search engine that will be available exclusively — and for free — to all MBA members through the Web. Look for the Casemaker logo on the homepage now for a sneak preview of this important members-only service.
