Become a sponsor, donate auction items for foundation gala

Planning is well underway for the 40th anniversary gala celebration of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation on Thursday, Oct. 28 at The State Room (formerly the Bay Tower Room) in Boston.

The evening will include a number of commemorative events, with John J. "Jack" Curtin, Jr. of Bingham McCutchen LLP, serving as honorary chairperson.

In addition, the 40th gala event will include a silent/live auction with many exciting items to bid on, including theater tickets, gift certificates and sports tickets. The foundation also is looking for sponsors for the 40th Gala Celebration. Sponsorships include: Founder, $7,500 for a table of eight or 10 (if preferred) with premium seating along with a full-page ad in the Gala Dinner program; Leader, $5,000 for a table of eight or 10 (if preferred) with premium seating and a half-page ad in the Gala Dinner program; and Benefactor, $2,500, for a table of 10 with priority seating and a quarter-page ad in the Gala Dinner program. Individual tickets to the event are $150 each.
