Attendees of past MBA annual conferences will notice some important changes at this year's Annual Conference, to take place on Friday, March 2, 2007. A major change is the length of the conference, which has been trimmed from a three-day program to a one-day event.
The MBA House of Delegates (HOD) made its way to Old Sturbridge Village in south-central Massachusetts Nov. 15 for a special ribbon cutting ceremony and its November meeting. MBA President Mark D Mason and Old Sturbridge Village Board of Trustees Vice Chair Michael Brockelman led a ceremony culminating a partnership in refurbishing the village's authentic 1796 law office exhibit.
The Massachusetts Bar Association is currently accepting nominations for officer and delegate positions for the 2007-08 membership year. Nominees must submit a letter of intent and a current resume to the MBA secretary by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007 to be eligible.
