Barnstable Bar family law seminar

Family law practitioners from Barnstable and Plymouth counties gathered at the Barnstable District Court on June 4 for a panel discussion entitled, "The Ethical Knots Encountered in Family Law Litigation and Mediation and How to Unravel Them."

Hosted by the Family Law Committee of the Barnstable Bar Association, the seminar featured a wide-ranging discussion between attorneys Mark I. Berson and Michael Fredrickson on the myriad of ethical issues that arise regularly in family law cases.

Berson, a private practitioner in Greenfield, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a former member of the Board of Bar Overseers and a former chair of the Clients' Security Board. Fredrickson is the general counsel to the Board of Bar Overseers and counsel to the Clients' Security Board.

A reception at the Barnstable Tavern followed the seminar.
