Explore professional responsibility issues for the solo or small firm, including:

  • Changes to and requirements of contingent fee agreements;
  • Ethics of social media; and
  • Accepting and declining, withdrawing from and closing cases.

3:30-4:45 p.m.: Judges on Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration

Learn how negotiation, mediation and arbitration can better serve your clients’ needs and interests as well as the common ethical pitfalls that create impasse.

4:45-5:30 p.m.: Networking-- New Ideas and Approaches

Acquire new skills and tactics from the perspective of a sole practitioner, small-firm attorney and general practice associate.

5:30 p.m.: Networking Reception
