Introduction to the Practice Launch Pad

The Massachusetts Bar Association, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program, is pleased to offer the Practice Launch Pad Series. Join us for an accelerated 10-week boot camp for recent graduates and bar exam takers who are either searching for a job, thinking about starting their own firm or planning to start their own law firm after admission to the bar.

Practice Launch Pad sessions will run once a week for 1-2 hours and feature both in-person and prerecorded video presentations. The multi-part series will start after the bar exam is taken and conclude before the results are out.

In the first week you will be introduced to the high-level basics of the program, what to expect in future programs and how we will cover the topics that follow. You will also learn the essential components to a well-designed business plan and how to track your progress in developing your own plan over the 10 weeks of this program. In addition, you will learn which character traits are absolutely needed to not only make it, but thrive in solo and small firm practice. You will leave this program ready to refine your objectives and forge a successful trajectory.
