Minority and women business development programs are
prevalent in all types of procurement, particularly in construction and large
development projects.
Join the Massachusetts Bar Association's Development and Construction Law
Practice Group for a comprehensive review of the laws and regulations supporting
federal and state Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) programs, as well as
state and municipal Minority/Women (M/WBE) owned business development
programs.
Specific topics include:
- An examination of the applicable federal statutes
- U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
- State rules and regulations
Our expert panel will also review standards for DBE and M/WBE certification
and municipal procurement programs designed to involve minority and women
