For 20 years, the Western Massachusetts Bankruptcy Symposium has been a staple of education for the Massachusetts Bar Association, focusing on important updates and issues relevant to bankruptcy practitioners.

This year’s symposium will feature practical discussions regarding issues facing bankruptcy practitioners. Symposium highlights include:

  • State of the District, Hon. Christopher J. Panos, chief judge, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts
  • Case law updates
  • Issues related to the sale of distressed businesses
  • Ethical considerations in a virtual world

Members of the Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester county bar associations who are not MBA members can enjoy a special discounted rate of $75. To register, please contact the MBA's Member Services Center at (617) 338-0530.

This session will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required by noon on Monday, Nov. 1, to participate in this program. After you register with the MBA, please look for an email from MassBar Education with the Webinar ID and Password. The email will be sent before the program.
