Moving for a preliminary injunction (PI) is
often a crucial part of a business/commercial case in Massachusetts — and one
of the most complex. From filing (or e-filing), to serving the necessary documents,
to obtaining a prompt hearing date, to establishing the legal requirements
that will persuade a judge, the process is rife with
details that can challenge even the most seasoned litigators, as
well as assistants and more junior attorneys.
In this program,
Judge Michael Ricciuti of the Superior Court's Business Litigation Session (BLS),
BLS clerk John Powers, and two experienced litigators will
provide information to make the process easier. Program participants will receive a detailed checklist
to help ensure smooth filings.
