This webinar discussed the recent mortgage underwriting changes put into effect following the tragic Surfside condo collapse in Miami, Florida. New England condominiums are not immune to this issue. Partial collapses and near collapses have been encountered in the Northeast as buildings begin to age out. This program addressed questions such as:

  • What can we expect legislatively and politically in response to this issue?
  • How can condominiums prevent this from happening? 
  • How can condominiums and real estate practitioners negotiate these changes?
