The Massachusetts Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution (DR) Section in collaboration with the Trial Court Standing Committee on Dispute Resolution, and the MBA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, kick off Conflict Resolution Week by presenting an interactive training program examining unconscious bias in dispute resolution.

The training will provide:

  • An in-depth review and discussion of  implicit bias, as well as the Implicit Association Test.
  • Tools to counteract bias in dispute resolution.

Participants are encouraged to take the Implicit Association Test before the training at https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit. The test is free and anonymous.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear about how unconscious and implicit bias affects dispute resolution practice. Learn how to recognize implicit bias in yourself and how to minimize its impact in the context of providing dispute resolution services.
