key employment law issues and considerations for managing a remote workforce
across state lines. The panelists will discuss the various obstacles presented
by a remote work environment,
including:
- Wage and hour issues
- Tracking work hours and productivity
- What law applies to workers in other states
- Performance management
- Returning employees to the office
- Leave law considerations
- Limits to advising on laws in other states
Panelists will also discuss best practices when advising clients on this
topic, from both management and employee perspectives. This program will
be an excellent opportunity for attorneys to learn up-to-date tips from experts
in the field on the difficulties faced in managing remote work.
