The Massachusetts Bar Association's Labor & Employment Section is proud to welcome back the legal community in person to the 51st Annual Robert Fuchs Labor Law Conference on Feb. 13, 2025, at Suffolk University Law School.

This year, the conference co-chairs invited National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Director of the Office of Representation Appeals Terence G. Schoone-Jongen and Board Member David M. Prouty as our keynote speakers.

Terence G. Schoone-Jongen, Director of the Office of Representation Appeals, NLRB
During his 9 years at the NLRB, Mr. Schoone-Jongen has distinguished himself as a leading expert in the area of representation case law. Mr. Schoone-Jongen joined the Agency as an Honors Attorney in 2010, during which time he worked for the staffs of former Members Craig Becker, Mark Gaston Pearce, Terence F. Flynn, and Sharon Block. During this time, he worked on a range of matters for the Office of Representation Appeals and the Solicitor.

David M. Prouty, Board Member, NLRB
Mr. Prouty was nominated by President Biden on June 23, 2021 and confirmed by the Senate on July 28, 2021. His term will last until August 2026.
Most recently, Member Prouty served as General Counsel of Service Employee International Union (SEIU) Local 32BJ, the largest labor union for property service workers in the country with over 175,000 members.
