In April, the Massachusetts Bar Association created a Health & Well-Being page to support member wellness during COVID-19. The page features helpful resources for coping with stress, anxiety, panic, substance use disorder and more during the pandemic, with links provided by the ABA Commission on Lawyers Assistance Program, as well as the MBA’s own Attorney Well-Being Working Group. Each week, eJournal will highlight one of the wellness resources to bring attention to the helpful resources that are available for members or anyone who may need assistance.
This week, we're highlighting Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) Support Groups, offered exclusively for lawyers, law students and judges in Massachusetts. LCL Support Groups are free and confidential, and they currently include separate groups for solos, mothers, immigration lawyers, practitioners with ADHD and lawyers involved in a disciplinary process. Visit the LCL Support Group information page to find out when the groups meet and how to get involved.
