Join the Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, Boston Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association (Region 1), Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys, Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys, Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association, New England Muslim Bar Association, South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts (and additional partners TBA) for a program addressing how bias and micro/macroaggressions impact our profession and its people. This program will be held on Zoom on Thursday, June 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Panelists will discuss what it means to be an “upstander” in the context of the legal profession, and how to implement tools to be a successful upstander who minimizes bias and advocates for those being marginalized.
