The Probate Law Section concentrates on legal and practical issues in the areas of estate planning, elder law and probate administration and litigation. Section members are involved in Probate Court procedures, shaping legislation and practice methods toupdate and improve practice areas.

2009-04-27: Uniform Probate Code
Article Five of the UPC goes into effect on July 1. Courts will be much more involved with guardianships and conservatorships, and the forms and process are changing drastically.
