For 18 years, the Western Massachusetts Bankruptcy Symposium has been a staple of education for the Massachusetts Bar Association, focusing on important updates and issues relevant to bankruptcy practitioners.

This year's annual symposium is no different and will provide practical discussions on the following:

  • State of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts
  • Loan modifications from the perspective of both debtor's and creditor's counsel
  • Case law updates
  • Bankruptcy filing nuances: tips and traps presented by the court's law clerks
  • Ethical considerations facing bankruptcy practitioners

Members of the Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester county bar associations, who are not MBA members, can enjoy a special discounted rate of $80. To register, please contact the MBA's Member Services Center at (617) 338-0530.
