TieredCommunityMentoringJoin the Tiered Community Mentoring Program

The Massachusetts Bar Association’s Tiered Community Mentoring Program (TCM) introduces high school students to information about college, provides pre-law college students with information about the law school admission process and gives law students an inside view of the practice of law with their attorney mentors. The program is based in both Boston and Worcester in an effort to reach urban high school students, with a focus on building a diverse mentoring network. 

It was honored with the 2011 ABA Partnership Award from the American Bar Association because of its commitment to diversity. The MBA's Tiered Community Mentoring Program was the idea of the Associate Justice of the Barnstable Probate and Family Court Angela M. Ordoñez. The program was honored with the 2011 ABA Partnership Award from the American Bar Association because of its commitment to diversity and Judge Ordoñez was the recipient of the MBA’s President’s Award at the MBA’s Annual Dinner on May 2, 2024, read more here.
