Feeling stressed? You’re not alone. Practicing law is stressful, especially
now. Join us on Dec. 8, at noon, to hear from practicing attorneys who have
faced depression, discrimination and substance abuse. Learn how they manage and
overcome the stressors in their lives to be resilient and successful. In
addition, you’ll hear from a professional clinician about the physical impact of
psychological stress. You’ll learn tools for managing daily stressors,
techniques to replace unhealthy coping mechanisms with healthy alternatives, and
avenues for seeking help.
The Resilient Lawyer Series, launched in October 2020, is a series of
programs designed to guide new and experienced attorneys through the
unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession.
Through multiple virtual events, our experts will provide a wealth of
information to help you start, expand or pivot a practice; break into other
practice areas; and otherwise adjust to the current legal landscape.
This session is presented in collaboration with:
- Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers/The Massachusetts Law
Office Management Assistance Program
- Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Standing
Committee on Lawyer Well-Being
- Massachusetts Bar Association's Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion Committee
- MBA's Attorney Well-Being Committee
