Lawyer Referral Service Program

Each year, more than 20,000 people contact the Massachusetts Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service looking for a lawyer. The MBA's skilled staff will refer new clients directly to your office.

Your membership with LRS not only helps the public; it also offers you the opportunity to expand your client base.

As an MBA member, you can participate in this program by completing a separate application form. Additionally, in order to join the LRS program you must be in good standing with the Board of Bar Overseers and provide proof of insurance by forwarding a Certificate of Insurance from your current professional liability insurance carrier. The cost of joining LRS is either $100 or $150, depending on how long you have been admitted to practice.
