The Massachusetts Bar Association's House of Delegates (HOD) has approved amendments to the association’s Bylaws, and a membership vote is now required in order for these amendments to take effect.
The Bylaw amendments were drafted and submitted for approval to the HOD by the Governance Committee, which was appointed in 2017 by then-President Christopher P. Sullivan. The Governance Committee was co-chaired by President-elect John J. Morrissey and Euripides D. Dalmanieras, with Walter A. Costello Jr., Grace V. B. Garcia, Christopher A. Kenney and Victoria Santoro Mair.
The Bylaw amendments were approved for a vote of the membership by the HOD at its Sept. 27, 2018 meeting.
