The Boston Municipal Court Administrative Office/Central Division has relocated from its previous location at the John W. McCormack Post Office and Courthouse to the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse.
The relocation of the Superior Court Administrative Office and the Suffolk County Superior Court to the newly refurbished Suffolk County Courthouse at 3 Pemberton Square involves two phases. The Suffolk County Superior Court for Criminal Business and the Suffolk County Superior Court Probation Office will move during the weekend of April 2-3 and will open for business on Monday, April 4. The following weekend, April 9-10, the Suffolk County Superior Court for Civil Business and the Administrative Office of the Superior Court will move to the Suffolk County Courthouse and open for business on Monday, April. 11.
The courts are moving from the John W. McCormack Courthouse because the six-year lease of the Administrative Office of the Trial Court and the Division of Capital Asset Management with the U.S. General Services Administration expires in April.
