More than 300 Western Massachusetts residents received free legal advice during the Massachusetts Bar Association’s 22nd Dial-A-Lawyer event on May 18.
Co-sponsored by Western New England College School of Law and The Republican, the twice-yearly public service event attracted 26 lawyers who generously volunteered their time to provide free advice to people confronting a wide range of legal issues.
According to Elizabeth A. O’Neil, director of public service for the MBA, “the phones never stopped ringing” during the four-hour event for residents of Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties.
