The Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts will hold its 22nd Annual Banquet on Thursday, April 19, starting at 6 p.m., at the Omni Parker House. A networking cocktail hour will run from 6–7 p.m., followed by a sitdown dinner.

The evening’s keynote speaker will be Wayne Budd, Esq., presently a senior counsel at Goodwin Procter LLP. The Founders Award, awarded annually to a Massachusetts attorney who has made significant contributions in business, academics or the community as it relates to the law, will be given to Caroline Chang, Esq.

The Essex County Bar Association and the Greater Lynn Bar Association will present “Residential Real Estate,” the latest offering in the John P. McGloin Memorial Lecture Series 2006-07 on Tuesday, April 17, at 6 p.m. at Angelica’s Restaurant in Middleton.

The Hampshire County Bar Association’s wine tasting fundraiser will take place Friday, April 27, commencing at 5 p.m. at the Northampton Center for the Arts in Northampton.

The recipients of the annual fundraising event will be the Whole Children Center in Hadley and Cutchins Children’s Clinic in Northampton. The HCBA Scholarship Fund will receive proceeds from a raffle to take place at the event. New this year, attendees will have an opportunity to sample cheeses and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. There will be live entertainment by Robert Cummings.

The Essex County Bar Association will hold its Annual Dinner Meeting on Thursday, May 24, at the Salem Waterfront Hotel. The keynote speaker will be the Hon. Robert A. Mulligan, Chief Justice for Administration and Management.
Cocktails are at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. Earlier that day, they will hold the Essex County Bar Association will hold its Annual Golf Tournament at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. Shotgun start at 1 p.m.
