Q&A with MBA President Marsha
Kazarosian

"It's
important for the public to understand what lawyers do and how
important lawyers are to the justice system. We also need to
educate the public about the court system. It doesn't come easily
or cheaply and people have to fight for it to continue to make it
work."
MBA President Marsha V.

Tsarnaev sister alleged bomb
threat

"It
certainly calls for a second look and third look and a fourth.
They've got to take it very seriously and they've got to examine it
every which way to see if there's any basis at all."
MBA Criminal Justice Section
Vice Chair Peter Elikann, FOX 25, August 28
Elikann provided his analysis of an alleged bomb threat made by
the sister of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Ailina Tsarnaev was arrested in New York City last week after
allegedly threatening a woman in a domestic harassment case. "If it
is serious, showing that this entire family has access to bombs,
under the worst case scenario, certainly this would be more
evidence against everyone all around," noted Elikann.
