Suffolk County: MBA Honor Roll Firm Todd & Weld LLP announces that Carole Cooke has been elected to the partnership effective Jan. 1. Cooke concentrates her practice on representing plaintiffs and defendants in employment law disputes involving wage claims, discrimination, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation. She also litigates complex commercial disputes.

MBA member James Kitces has been elected as a principal at MBA Honor Roll Firm Robins Kaplan LLP. Kitces counsels and represents large business insurers in first party coverage, third party liability coverage, industrial subrogation claims, and inspection claims.

MBA Honor Roll Firm Conn Kavanaugh is pleased to announce that as of Jan. 1, MBA member Michael J. Rossihas become a partner in the firm. Michael will continue his practice in the litigation of professional liability, employment, commercial and real estate disputes.

Announcements accepted for consideration include individual professional accomplishments (new jobs, promotions, recent accomplishments or awards*, etc.) and personal news (weddings, engagements, birth announcements, and other notable outside-of-work accomplishments). Honor Roll Firm announcements are also encouraged.

*Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
